Customs inspectors, in cooperation with the Hellenic Police, discovered a total of 131 kilos of cocaine concealed in banana containers arriving from Ecuador.

The two seizure cases

The specially trained drug detection dogs, MAX and KYBERR, gave a positive indication, leading to a physical inspection. During the inspection, 67 packages of cocaine were seized, with a total gross weight of 78 kilos and an estimated value of 3.51 million euros.

In the second case, during a physical inspection by customs officers and the Hellenic Police, 47 packages of cocaine were found, with a gross weight of 53 kilos and an estimated value of 2.39 million euros.
