A tragic end has come to the search for 39-year-old Yushi Feng, a Chinese woman who had been reported missing in Voula, Athens. Her lifeless body was discovered in a cave near the Voula cemetery, two days after she was last seen.

According to Voula Mayor Konstantellos Grigoris, the Municipality’s Civil Protection team located the body of an Asian woman, estimated to be between 35 and 40 years old, hanging inside the cave. Authorities believe she had been there for at least two days. The Greek Police, Emergency Medical Services (EKAB), and the Fire Department were immediately notified.

Missing Alert and Search Efforts

Yushi Feng had been reported missing on February 20, 2025. “The Smile of the Child” was informed and, as reasons arose that put her life in danger, it proceeded to activate the Missing Alert Hellas mechanism by publishing her photo and details on 21/02/2025. The publicity surrounding her disappearance led to a crucial tip from a citizen who claimed to have seen her in the Voula area.

In response, the organization informed the Hellenic Police. The local Municipal Police and Civil Protection services were also involved in the efforts to locate her. The “Thanasis Makris” Search and Rescue Team of “The Smile of the Child” had been actively searching for Yushi Feng the previous night.

Tragically, despite the search efforts, Yushi Feng was found deceased by the Municipality’s Civil Protection officers. “The Smile of the Child” organization expressed its deepest condolences to her family and assured them of their full support during this difficult time.

Greek Police continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding Yushi Feng death.
