Military Parade Program in Athens
The military parade in Athens, with units from the Armed Forces and Security Corps, will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM, in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, in the presence of the President of the Republic. The day will begin with a series of ceremonial events:
- 06:20: 21 gun salutes from the Lycabettus Hill artillery.
- 08:00: Official raising of the flag at the Sacred Rock of the Acropolis.
- 10:01: Another round of gun salutes.
- 10:55: Wreath laying by the President of the Republic.
- 18:41: Lowering of the flag at the Acropolis with accompanying gunfire.
Military Parade Program in Thessaloniki
In Thessaloniki, on March 25th, there will be both a student and military parade on Megalou Alexandrou Avenue (Great Alexander ).
The military units that will parade include the Military Academy of Officer Corps (SSAS), a Mechanized Infantry Battalion and an Airborne Infantry Battalion.
The student and military parade in Thessaloniki will start at 12:15 PM.
