The Multinational Joint Exercise MEDUSA 13 for 2024 has been completed.
The Multinational Joint Exercise MEDUSA 13, between Greece and Egypt with the participation of the Republic of Cyprus, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and France, ended today, October 19, 2024. The United Arab Emirates, India, Jordan, Italy, Bahrain, Morocco, Mozambique and Rwanda participated as observers.
Exercise MEDUSA, which started on Sunday, October 12, 2024, was held in the wider area of Crete.
The purpose of Exercise MEDOUSA, which has been taking place since 2015, is to strengthen the cooperation and interoperability of the Armed Forces of the participating countries, as well as to conduct operational training at an interdisciplinary level. Along with Exercise MEDUSA 13, the AEGEUS MENA III exercise was also carried out under the coordination of the Hellenic Air Force and the HERCULES III exercise, under the coordination of the Greek Special Warfare Command.
On Saturday, October 19, 2024, the Distinguished Visitors Day (DV DAY) took place, in the area of Maleme Chania.
