This was announced by the Ministry of National Defense today, October 1, 2024.
The Hellenic Air Force will provide Cyprus with a C-130 transport aircraft for the evacuation of Cypriot civilians from Lebanon.
It was preceded by a request from the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Cyprus, Vassilis Palmas, to the Greek Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias.
