The Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, paid a visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today, Monday, February 17, 2025.
Nikos Dendias visited the International Defense Equipment Exhibition IDEX and NAVDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi and inaugurated the Greek Pavilion. He then visited the Greek Navy Frigate HYDRA, which is participating in the European Operation ASPIDES (EUNAVFOR ASPIDES).

The CENTAUR anti-drone system is Greek design and production by the Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI) and will equip all Frigates of the Hellenic Navy.
