Joint training between the Armed Forces of Greece and Romania was completed at EPKEAAP (Kilkis).
From March 31 to April 4, 2025, a joint training exercise between the Romanian and Greek Armed Forces took place at the National Center of Excellence for Urban Warfare Training (EPKEAAP), as part of a bilateral action plan between the two countries.
Participating Units:
- Two Officers and eleven Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) from the 71st Airmobile Brigade “PONTOS” of Greek Army (71 Α/Μ TΑΞ)
- One Officer and thirty-one NCOs from the Romanian Army
Urban Warfare Training Activities
The training focused on key tactics and techniques essential for urban combat operations, including:
- Rapid Reaction Combat Firing Drills
- Room and Building Clearing
- Platoon-level Urban Operations Training





This joint training enhanced interoperability between the two forces, fostered the exchange of know-how, and strengthened the combat readiness of the personnel involved.
Military cooperation between Greece and Romania reflects the shared strategic goal of promoting stability and security.
