Greece announced the buy of Spike missile systems from Israeli state-owned defense contractor Rafael.

The General Directorate of Defense Equipment and Investments – the sole authorised agency of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence to conduct the procurement of Major Defence Equipment – announced on April 10, 2023, that the signing of international agreements with the State of Israel was completed.

Specifically for the Hellenic Army, agreements were signed the following interstate agreements with the State of Israel:

  • Government to Government Contract Concerning the Procurement of SPIKE NLOS Mission Taskforce (NMT)
  • Government to Government Contract Concerning the Procurement of SPIKE NLOS System for the Apache AH64A Helicopters
  • Government to Government Contract Concerning the AH64A Helicopters Upgrade.

For the Hellenic Navy, were signed:

  • Government to Government Contract Concerning the Procurement of NAVAL SPIKE ER and NLOS System and Missiles
