In a significant move to deepen bilateral defense ties, the General Director of the General Directorate for Defense Investments and Armaments (GDDIA) of the Hellenic Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant General Ioannis Bouras, along with an official delegation, paid an official visit to Cyprus.

The visit, which took place in Nicosia, aimed to enhance the existing cooperation between Greece and Cyprus in the field of defense procurement, explore new opportunities for collaboration, and promote synergies between the defense industries of both countries.

During the visit, Lieutenant General Bouras held a series of high-level meetings, including with:

  • Minister of Defense of Cyprus, Vasilios Palmas
  • Director of the Directorate of Armaments, Panagiotis Symeou
