Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias Visits Frigate Hydra
Greek Minister of Defence, Nikos Dendias, is set to attend the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and Naval Defence Exhibition (NAVDEX) 2025, scheduled from February 17 to 21 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) in the United Arab Emirates.
This year’s exhibitions will feature over 1,565 companies from 65 countries, marking a 16% increase from the previous edition.
As part of his visit, MoD Nikos Dendias will have contacts with representatives of the Hellenic Aerospace Security & Defense Industries Group (HASDIG), as well as with leading executives of companies active in the field of defense technology.
During his visit, Minister Dendias plans to visit the Hellenic Navy’s Frigate Hydra which is currently deployed in the Gulf of Aden as part of European Naval Operation ASPIDES (EUNAVFOR ASPIDES).
