Visit of the Chief of the Land Forces of Albania, Major General Ilir Xhebexhia.
Major General Ilir Xhebexhia, Chief of the Land Forces of Albania, paid an official visit to Greece, at the invitation of Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, Chief of the General Staff of the Army.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the strengthening of strategic ties between the two countries through the increase of bilateral military cooperation activities. The meeting was held in an excellent atmosphere, underlining the importance of cooperation in the field of defense, reports the Hellenic General Staff of the Army (HGSA).
Visits to Evelpidon
Major General Tzebehia visited the Military School of Evelpidon (SSE), where he was informed about the school’s work and toured its facilities.
Special Forces Training and Operations
The Albanian Chief of Land Forces visited the Special Forces Training Center (KEED) and the Paratrooper School (SCHAL), where he had the opportunity to attend a demonstration of educational objects.
In addition, he visited the Engineering School (SMX) in Loutraki, Corinth. There he attended a demonstration of the Special Disaster Response Department (ETAK) of the 747th Special Engineer Battalion (747 ETMX).
